Ingredients

8 oz egg noodles or lo mein noodles

1 lb chicken thighs, cut into bite-size pieces

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons soy sauce

2 tablespoons dark soy sauce

2 tablespoons honey or brown sugar

1 tablespoon oyster sauce

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

1 teaspoon sesame oil

1 tablespoon cornstarch

2 tablespoons water

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

2 green onions, sliced

½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

1 teaspoon grated ginger
Instructions

Cook the noodles in boiling salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Toss chicken pieces with cornstarch until lightly coated.

Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

In the same skillet, sauté garlic and ginger for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add soy sauce, dark soy sauce, honey, oyster sauce, and rice vinegar. Stir and bring to a gentle simmer.

Mix water with a teaspoon of cornstarch and pour into the sauce to thicken.
