- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- Whipped cream or fresh strawberries, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Beat cream cheese with sugar and vanilla until smooth; spread evenly in dish.
- Layer sliced strawberries over the cream cheese mixture.
- Sprinkle dry yellow cake mix evenly over strawberries without pressing down.
- Drizzle melted butter over the cake mix to cover evenly.
- Sprinkle optional nuts over the top.
- Bake uncovered for 40–45 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Cool 15 minutes before serving; garnish with whipped cream or fresh strawberries.
