Ingredients

4 large bell peppers, tops removed and hollowed

1 lb ground beef

1 cup cooked rice

1 cup tomato sauce

1 medium onion, chopped

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp dried oregano

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1 tbsp olive oil

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F and pre-bake the hollowed peppers for 10 minutes.

Sauté onion in olive oil, then add garlic.

Brown the ground beef in the skillet.

Season with paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper. Stir in cooked rice and tomato sauce.

Fill each pepper loosely with the mixture.

Cover with foil and bake 25 minutes.

Remove foil, add cheese on top, and bake 10–12 more minutes.

Rest for 5 minutes before serving.
