Ingredients

3 ½ cups all-purpose flour

2 ¼ teaspoons active dry yeast

¾ cup whole milk, warmed

¼ cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

¼ cup unsalted butter, melted

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

4 cups vegetable oil for frying

1 cup granulated sugar for coating
Instructions

Warm milk and dissolve yeast with a little sugar. Let it foam for 5 to 10 minutes.

Mix flour, sugar, salt, eggs, butter, vanilla, and yeast mixture until a dough forms. Knead until smooth.

Let dough rise until doubled in size.

Roll out dough and cut into donut shapes. Let rise again until puffy.

Heat oil to 350°F and fry donuts until golden brown on both sides.
