Description

Ingredients

  • 12 oz pasta such as penne or fettuccine

  • 1 cup oil-packed sun-dried tomatoes, sliced

  • 3 tbsp olive oil

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes

  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning

  • Salt and black pepper to taste

  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped


Instructions

  1. Cook pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve some pasta water and drain.

  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet and sauté garlic until fragrant.

  3. Add sun-dried tomatoes, red pepper flakes, and seasoning, then cook briefly.

  4. Stir in cream and simmer until slightly thickened.

  5. Add pasta and toss, using pasta water if needed.

  6. Remove from heat and mix in Parmesan, salt, and pepper.

  7. Finish with basil and serve warm.
