Ingredients

12 oz (340 g) fresh cranberries

1 cup (200 g) granulated sugar

½ cup (120 ml) orange juice

1 tablespoon orange zest

½ teaspoon vanilla extract

1 tablespoon water (optional, for thinning)
Instructions

Rinse cranberries and discard any soft ones.

Add cranberries, sugar, and orange juice to a saucepan and warm over medium heat.

Stir in orange zest and vanilla, then simmer 10–12 minutes.

Mash cranberries gently as they soften to reach desired consistency.

Remove from heat and thin with 1 tablespoon water if needed.

Cool 15–20 minutes, transfer to jars, and refrigerate.
