  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons almond extract
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup sliced almonds, toasted
  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • Beat butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until creamy and fluffy.
  • Add eggs one at a time, then mix in almond extract and vanilla extract.
  • Whisk flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
  • Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until combined.
  • Fold in toasted almonds and chocolate chips.
  • Chill the dough for 30 minutes.
  • Scoop dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing cookies evenly apart.
  • Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges turn golden and centers stay soft.
  • Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
