- 1 cup white sesame seeds
- 1/2 cup chia seeds
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 2 tablespoons ground flaxseed
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup warm water
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary or thyme (optional)
- Fresh cracked black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix the sesame seeds, chia seeds, oats, flaxseed, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, herbs, salt, and pepper.
- Stir in the olive oil and warm water until fully combined.
- Let the mixture rest for 15 minutes.
- Spread the mixture into a thin, even layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Score the surface into cracker-sized pieces.
- Bake for 30 minutes.
- Rotate or carefully flip the cracker sheet and bake for another 15 to 20 minutes until crisp.
- Cool completely on the baking sheet.
- Break into pieces and serve or store in an airtight container.
