Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup white sesame seeds
  • 1/2 cup chia seeds
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 2 tablespoons ground flaxseed
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary or thyme (optional)
  • Fresh cracked black pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Mix the sesame seeds, chia seeds, oats, flaxseed, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, herbs, salt, and pepper.
  • Stir in the olive oil and warm water until fully combined.
  • Let the mixture rest for 15 minutes.
  • Spread the mixture into a thin, even layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Score the surface into cracker-sized pieces.
  • Bake for 30 minutes.
  • Rotate or carefully flip the cracker sheet and bake for another 15 to 20 minutes until crisp.
  • Cool completely on the baking sheet.
  • Break into pieces and serve or store in an airtight container.
