Description

Christmas Pavlova Trifle is a showstopping holiday dessert filled with crisp meringue, fluffy mascarpone cream, and juicy berries. Its colorful layers make every serving feel festive, elegant, and wonderfully delicious.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz (340 g) meringue nests
  • 2 cups (480 ml) heavy whipping cream
  • 8 oz (225 g) mascarpone cheese
  • 1/3 cup (40 g) powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups (300 g) fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup (150 g) fresh raspberries
  • 1 cup (150 g) fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup (240 g) prepared raspberry or strawberry coulis
  • 2 tbsp (15 g) sliced almonds, optional
  • Fresh mint leaves, optional

Instructions

  1. Wash and thoroughly dry the strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries. Hull and slice the strawberries, then reserve a few whole berries for decoration.
  2. Beat the cold heavy whipping cream, mascarpone, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl until smooth, fluffy, and thick enough to hold its shape.
  3. Break the meringue nests into bite-sized pieces, keeping a few larger pieces aside for the topping.
  4. Spread a thin layer of cream in the bottom of a large glass trifle bowl.
  5. Add a layer of meringue pieces, followed by strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, and a light drizzle of coulis.
  6. Spread another layer of cream over the fruit and repeat the layers until you use most of the ingredients.
  7. Finish with cream, reserved berries, meringue pieces, sliced almonds, and fresh mint leaves.
  8. Refrigerate briefly if needed, then serve as soon as possible for the best contrast between crisp meringue and creamy filling.
  9. Cover and refrigerate leftovers promptly. Enjoy within 1–2 days, noting that the meringue will soften during storage
