- 2 large eggs
- 1/3 cup (80 ml) vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon (5 ml) vanilla extract
- Green gel food coloring, as needed
- 1/2 cup (60 g) powdered sugar
- Red heart sprinkles, optional
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Combine the cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract in a large bowl. Mix until a thick dough forms.

- Cover the dough and refrigerate for 30–45 minutes until firm enough to handle.
- Scoop about 1 tablespoon of dough at a time and roll into balls.
- Roll each dough ball generously in powdered sugar until fully coated.
- Arrange the dough balls on the prepared baking sheets, leaving about 2 inches (5 cm) between each cookie.
- Bake for 9–12 minutes, until the edges are set and the tops develop cracks.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack.
- Add red heart sprinkles if desired, allow the cookies to cool completely, and serve.
