Description

These spooky little treats are creamy, chocolatey, and ridiculously easy to make. Halloween Oreo Balls are the perfect no-bake dessert for parties, Halloween gatherings, and festive family fun.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 36 regular Oreo cookies, about 405 g
  • 8 oz. cream cheese, about 226 g, softened
  • 12 oz. chocolate melting wafers, about 340 g
  • 4 oz. orange candy melts, about 113 g
  • 4 oz. purple candy melts, about 113 g
  • 2 tablespoons Halloween sprinkles, about 18 g
  • 24 small candy eyes, optional

Instructions

  • Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or a sturdy zip-top bag and rolling pin.
  • Add softened cream cheese and mix until the crumbs form a smooth, cohesive dough.
  • Scoop about 1 tablespoon of mixture at a time and roll into smooth balls.
  • Place the balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  • Melt the chocolate wafers in a microwave-safe bowl in short intervals, stirring between each interval until smooth.
  • Dip each chilled Oreo ball into the melted chocolate, coating it completely.
  • Place the coated truffles on parchment paper and immediately decorate with sprinkles, candy eyes, or colored candy melts.
  • Allow the chocolate coating to set at room temperature or refrigerate for about 15 minutes.
  • Store the finished Oreo balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
