- 2 cups unsweetened almond milk or milk of choice
- 2 tbsp maple syrup or honey
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
- 1 sliced banana (optional)
- 2 tbsp chopped roasted peanuts (optional)
- 1 tbsp mini dark chocolate chips (optional)
- 1 tbsp cacao nibs (optional)
- Fresh strawberries or raspberries (optional)
- Extra peanut butter for drizzling (optional)
Instructions
- Combine the rolled oats, chia seeds, cocoa powder, cinnamon, and salt in a mixing bowl or jar.
- Add the almond milk, peanut butter, maple syrup, and vanilla extract.
- Whisk thoroughly until the peanut butter and cocoa powder are fully incorporated.
- Let the mixture sit for 5 minutes, then stir again to prevent chia seed clumps.
- Cover the container and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight.
- Stir the oats well before serving and add a splash of milk if needed.
- Taste and adjust the sweetness with additional maple syrup or honey if desired.
- Divide into serving bowls or enjoy directly from meal prep jars.
- Top with banana slices, chopped peanuts, cacao nibs, dark chocolate chips, berries, or an extra drizzle of peanut butter.
- Serve chilled and enjoy.
