- 1 lb. Italian sausage

- 1 small yellow onion, diced

- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 can diced tomatoes (14 oz.)
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 cups baby spinach
- 2 tbsp fresh basil, chopped
Instructions
- Cook the bow tie pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet and brown the Italian sausage.
- Add onion and garlic, then cook until fragrant.
- Stir in chicken broth, diced tomatoes, and heavy cream.
- Simmer for a few minutes, then add Parmesan cheese and spinach.
