Ingredients

  • 2 cups milk of choice
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 6 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 2 teaspoons matcha powder
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
  • 1/4 cup granola
  • 2 tablespoons sliced almonds
  • Fresh strawberries, kiwi, or blueberries for topping
  • Toasted coconut flakes (optional)

Instructions

  • Whisk the matcha powder with a small amount of warm milk until smooth.
  • Combine the remaining milk, Greek yogurt, honey, vanilla extract, sea salt, and dissolved matcha in a mixing bowl.
  • Stir in the chia seeds thoroughly.
  • Let the mixture rest for 10 minutes, then stir again.
  • Divide into jars or cover the bowl.
  • Refrigerate overnight or for at least 6 hours.
  • Stir before serving and add more milk if needed.
  • Adjust sweetness to taste.
  • Top with fresh fruit, granola, almonds, and toasted coconut.
  • Serve chilled and enjoy.
