Golden Hawaiian rolls filled with gooey melted cheese create bite-sized grilled sandwiches perfect for snacks, lunches, parties, or appetizers.

- 1 package (12 oz.) Hawaiian sweet rolls
- 8 slices sharp cheddar cheese
- 8 slices mozzarella cheese
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard (optional)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp dried parsley
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Pinch of kosher salt
- 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally without separating them.
- Place the bottom half of the rolls into the baking dish.
- Layer the cheddar and mozzarella cheese evenly over the rolls.
- Place the top half of the rolls back on.
- Mix the melted butter, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, Italian seasoning, black pepper, and salt.
- Brush the butter mixture generously over the tops of the rolls.
- Sprinkle Parmesan cheese evenly over the buttered rolls.
- Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake another 8 to 10 minutes until golden brown.
- Let rest for 5 minutes, slice into individual sliders, garnish with parsley, and serve warm.
