- 1 cup (200 g) packed light brown sugar

- 1 1/2 cups (188 g) all-purpose flour
- 2 cups (180 g) old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1 teaspoon (5 g) baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon (3 g) salt
- 1 teaspoon (2 g) ground cinnamon
- 1 1/2 cups (150 g) dried cranberries
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper.
- Whisk the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar together until smooth.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract, then whisk until fully combined.
- In a separate bowl, stir together the flour, rolled oats, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir just until a soft dough forms.
- Fold in the dried cranberries until evenly distributed.
- Press about two-thirds of the mixture firmly into the prepared pan.
- Crumble the remaining mixture evenly over the top.
- Bake for 30 to 36 minutes, until the edges and top turn golden brown.
- Cool completely in the pan before lifting out and slicing into squares.
