Description

Sweet, creamy, and full of fresh peach flavor, this Peach Mousse looks elegant but is surprisingly easy to make. It is the perfect chilled dessert for warm days and special occasions.


Ingredients

  • 4 large ripe peaches, peeled and sliced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon unflavored gelatin
  • 2 tablespoons cold water
  • Pinch of fine sea salt
  • Fresh peach slices, for garnish (optional)
  • Whipped cream, for garnish (optional)
  • Mint leaves, for garnish (optional)
  • White chocolate curls, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Peel and slice the peaches.
  • Blend peaches with lemon juice, sugar, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
  • Bloom the gelatin in cold water for 5 minutes.
  • Heat the gelatin gently until dissolved.
  • Stir the dissolved gelatin into the peach puree.
  • Allow the puree to cool to room temperature.
  • Whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar until medium peaks form.
  • Fold one-third of the whipped cream into the peach mixture.
  • Gently fold in the remaining whipped cream until fully combined.
  • Divide the mousse among serving glasses.
  • Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  • Garnish with whipped cream, peach slices, mint, or chocolate curls before serving
