- 1 ½ lbs (680 g) ground beef (80/20 blend)
- 1 cup (100 g) breadcrumbs
- ½ cup (120 ml) milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 small onion, finely diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp dried parsley
- ½ cup ketchup (for glaze)
- 2 tbsp brown sugar (for glaze)
- 1 tbsp mustard (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare baking dish. Soak breadcrumbs in milk for 5 minutes.
- Mix beef, eggs, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, salt, pepper, and parsley gently.
- Shape mixture into a loaf in the baking dish.
- Combine glaze ingredients and spread half over the meatloaf.
- Bake 40 minutes, then add remaining glaze and bake 15–20 minutes more.
- Rest 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
