- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 cups blueberries
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup butter
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and prepare a 9-inch baking pan.
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla and sourdough discard.
- Whisk dry ingredients separately, then combine with wet mixture, alternating with milk.
- Fold in floured blueberries and spread batter into pan.
- Mix crumb topping ingredients until coarse and sprinkle over batter.
- Bake for 40–45 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool slightly before slicing and serving.
