Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups diced fresh peaches

For the topping:

  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cold butter
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F and line a muffin pan with liners.
  • Mix topping ingredients until crumbly and chill.
  • Whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon together.
  • In another bowl, whisk butter and sugars, then add eggs, sourdough discard, milk, and vanilla.
  • Fold dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just combined.
  • Stir in diced peaches gently.
  • Divide batter into muffin cups and top with crumb mixture.
  • Bake for 20 to 24 minutes until golden brown.
  • Cool slightly before serving warm.
