Description

Sweet, fluffy, and bursting with fresh berry flavor, this Strawberry Mousse looks elegant but is surprisingly easy to make. It’s the perfect no-bake dessert for parties, holidays, or whenever you’re craving something light and creamy.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon powdered gelatin
  • 2 tablespoons cold water
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • Fresh strawberries for garnish
  • Mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Wash, hull, and blend the strawberries with sugar, lemon juice, and vanilla until smooth.
  • Bloom the gelatin in cold water for 5 minutes, then warm gently until dissolved.
  • Stir the dissolved gelatin into the strawberry puree and let it cool.
  • Whip the cold heavy cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
  • Mix one-third of the whipped cream into the strawberry mixture.
  • Gently fold in the remaining whipped cream until fully combined.
  • Spoon the mousse into serving glasses or dessert bowls.
  • Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  • Garnish with fresh strawberries, whipped cream, and mint if desired.
